Greyboy Allstars have confirmed a special Thanksgiving weekend show. The San Diego-bred groove pioneers, who formed in 1993 as DJ Greyboy's house band, will bring things full circle, returning to their hometown for a gig at The Observatory North Park on Friday, November 28. For one night only, DJ Greyboy, who has worked with the group on occasion throughout the years as a producer, will also appear on the bill. A pre-sale for the evening, billed as A Thanksgiving Boogaloo, is currently underway.
The ensemble, whose current lineup includes Karl Denson, Robert Walter, Chris Stillwell, Elgin Park and Aaron Redfield, will hit the road before then as well, including short runs on the West Coast and throughout the Southeast. Their next stop is an August 27 appearance at Sacramento, CA 's Harlow's.
