Since 1999 the Mimi Fishman Foundation has raised approximately $600,000 in support of organizations committed to the health and children and families. The Fundation places a particular emphasis on issues involving visual impairment. It does so through a series of online auctions that occur throughout the year.
The MFF describes itself as “a volunteer-administered, fan-driven non-profit dedicated to raising funds for a diverse range of charitable organizations that each, in some way, touched the life of our founder Mimi Fishman. Mother to Phish’s drummer Jon Fishman; Mimi established the Foundation with the idea that partnering with bands like Phish could truly influence charitable giving and philanthropic engagement.”
The latest auctions feature show-used drumheads and drumsticks from the Phish 2025 summer tour. For the first time the Foundation has created paired auction items that combine a drumstick and drumhead, both used and signed by Phish drummer Jon Fishman. The auction is live and ends Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
