Chadwick Stokes: The Horse Comanche

The Horse Comanche, the latest solo album from Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch and State Radio, came to fruition with the help of three producers of varying backgrounds who helped maintain a sound familiar to Stokes’ many fans. The album provides him with the space to experiment a bit with more lush and, at times, quirky musical landscapes. Stokes, who is no stranger to the role of an activist, continues to use his music as a platform to call attention to injustice around the world. “Our Lives Our Time,” the album’s first single, is a song that takes inventory of society’s many intolerances, particularly toward gay marriage and gender equality.
