11:14 AM EDT on August 25, 2026

Nicole Atkins will make her Grand Ole Opry debut on Saturday, September 12. The New Jersey-bred, Nashville-based musician will appear on the program as part of its extended 100th anniversary celebration, on a bill that also includes Gary Mule Deer, Caleb Caudle and Riley Downing. The show is slated to start at 7pm.

Atkins will release her first full-length effort in six years, Drama, on September 18 via Sun Records and Wicked Game. She also recently dropped a new video for one of the record’s tracks, “Trippin’ on Teardrops,” her third advance single from the forthcoming LP. The number was co-written with Peter Bjorn and John’s Peter Morén and Wilco’s Pat Sansone. The latter musician also produced the new set.

Atkins will kick off an extended tour at Columbus, OH’s Rumba Cafe on October 9.
